A Single Inductor Multi-Port Power Converter for Electric Vehicle Applications

This research presents a non-isolated multi-port power converter feasible to hybridize energy alternatives in electric vehicles. Due the hybridization of various input sources, there are several advantages load distribution system. Flexible control discharging as well charging process concerning sources can be achieved. The developed able boost voltage levels with dual inputs such renewable solar PV and other battery provides outputs levels, which suit fed for loads like motor drive low-rated lighting auxiliary supplies Also, voltages appear at output, this interfaced multilevel inverters vehicle drivetrain. utilization reduces total harmonic distortion torque ripples drives proposed consists less number components making circuit simple cost-effective. With one inductor, two modes obtained states storage units. A state-space analysis is designed all operating along its design. DC-DC MATLAB/Simulink tested laboratory environment hardware setup.
